Maku is a minimalist table lamp, an inspiration sketch of half finished hand roll sushi. “Maku” means “roll” in Japanese.
Made of untreated solid brass to allow for a natural patina to develop over time.
Due to oxidization and how it is handled, it develops a beautiful signs of aging, sturdy, and tell a story.

Kenyon Yeh currently lives and works in Taiwan where he continue producing his works for international brands.
The studio working with furniture, lighting, product and interior design projects.
His inspiration are coming from minimizing the outline of mundane objects in everyday life and practicing the production possibilities with traditional and modern manufacturing techniques, which make his work characteristic and amiable at the same time.
